Prasanthi Nilayam is located in Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh state of India. It has a Latitude of 14 degree N and Longitude of 78 degree E.
The climate generally is hot and dry throughout the year. Light rainfall may be expected during the months of June, July and August and again from October to December. Since morning hours of December and January can be cold, light woollens may be advisable.
