Dear All,

Vegeterianism is the most effective way of living while giving opportunity to all living beings to co-exist. The concept of not eating anything which involves torturing other living beings or killing them is based on the principle of non-violence and compassion.

A truly non-violent and compassionate person is capable of loving other people. You cannot truly love your wife / kids / family members as long as you are killing other living beings. This state is a state of ignorance wherein we are blind to the basic facts of life. We are kind and caring to our near and dear ones while we turn blind eye to the suffering of other people.

Apart from the obvious and proven health advantages, there are innumerous benefits of vegeterianism. If you have turned to vegeterianism or are an ardent follower of the same since birth, you are more than welcome to share your experiences.

Being vegan is an ideal which i seek to achieve in time from the state of being a lacto vegeterian. Personal beliefs of mine puts eggs under non-vegeterian category.

However i salute all ovo-vegeterians for being just one step away from being a complete vegeterian. (Most of the content over internet however do not agree with me and puts certain types of eggs under vegeterian category.)

May Sai bless you always. Smiley

Do you ever stop thinking that our body is a master a piece, the product of billions of years of evolution and that we are of the most elegant and highly evolved species of this planet Earth. Our environment, lifestyle, diet and even thought affect our well-being every day. By living healthfully we can take responsibilities for improving our entire being which can actually improve your genetics in a process of evolution. Or, by living unhealthy we will likely incur weakened and even derange genes in a sad process of de-evolution, culminating in failing vitality, illness and early death

it should be left to one's choice for being a vegeterian or a non vegeterian . there is no sense that on the name of dharm we leave eating non veg but our minds goes on and off towards others eating non veg . so one has to decide to go by his or her consious .

If one craves for non-veg food, one has to resolve that craving. Any given day being vegetarian is advisable and helps in the growth of the spirit. Any seeker be it in the name of God, or self or truth would realise or would have already realised the importance of the food habits. Of course, mode of eating can never be forced. It can only be advised and people upon realisation will accept the better way of eating. But we should never equate the two modes of eating anytime.
