You know what happens when you put a person a pedestal, it is highly likely that internally you look for ways to bring down that image, you start looking for faults, you start seeing if there is anything common between you and the person and if there is anything, it is likely to be a fault of the person. We like images which do not speak, we like people more after they die, we hate and despise them as long as they are with us. We love people when they are beyond our reach. These are some paradoxes which are hard to be deciphered. But realization does dawn and it dawns sometimes permanently and at other times evaporate quite soon. It is important to know from which reference are we plotting our ideas about someone else, is that reference correct, justified. Are we not crucifying someone too soon and for little mistakes. Is this character assassination going to help us and in what ways.

Sometimes in our journey the paths are circuitous and tempting, we are enticed by intellectual exercises which lead as astray.

Love can heal, it can make us become whole, it can do wonders in our relationship with the world, love can rejuvenate, i am sure love can even bring a dead person to life and "dead" is symbolic here, it means one who is devoid of love and that's it. You know i feel our knowledge is of no use because knowledge is so limited in giving meaning to life. But even an iota of love can lift us, can elevate us can take us to different plane altogether. Baba's message of love has to be understood, it has to be lived, it has to be experienced. You know when you are in love, you can take any brickbat so easily, you are never hurt by anyone and anything. Because you are in love with everything. You see the connections, you see everything as a whole. Romantic love can give you glimpse of that. You know when we say that pink is the colour of live, it is so correct. Pink also symbolises compassion, it means empathy, the ability to feel the pain of everyone, the ability to connect with people around you.

I read that beggars seldom give thanks to you, because they are beggars. However if you do even a little good to a king, he will give thanks to you. You know any little thing has to be thanked for which we have received as a gift. If we do not give thanks, we are equal to beggars. It is time we stop begging like beggars and live life like kings. Let us be thankful for every little or big thing which we have. Let us thank universe, let us thank God, let us thank our parents, let us thank our family, let us thank our spouse, let us thank our kids, let us thank our friends and relatives, neighbours. If the list is too long at least thank God.  Beggars have so much expectations from people that they receive little, they have only expectations and nothing else. Let us distribute our love freely without any expectation. Let it come out of us just because we have so much of love inside us and that's it.

I believe that identifying ourselves with our mistakes is as bad as identifying ourselves with our successes. We limit our progress in both the cases. In the first case we humiliate the very essence of God in us. We overlook the divinity and give emphasis to the negative energies which is not going to help. In second case, we are overly attached to our experiences, our accomplishments and thereby do not move further on the path.

If i have to give priorities, i would say give up identification with negative things in you before giving up identification with good things. Do not ever say anything low of anybody in this world. Do not undermine any soul, do not rebuke people, do not ever degrade them and never ever discourage them. Because mind is innocent yet very powerful and unknowingly it starts accepting those things as truths and propels the soul into direction of darkness. Let us avoid that.

I read somewhere the best sacrifices you can make. They are of your ego, wealth, time and effort.

So dear friend, if you offer them to God, you will be protected, you will be lifted by the universe. Your soul will become light and you will dwell into the higher planes of the universe.

Sairam! You have analysed the problem very nicely. in this context, i remember a passage from Saisatcharita. When a saint handed over a coconut to an advocate for handing over the same to Saibaba, the coconut was inadvertently broken on the way. The advocate was ruminating over the consequences. On reaching Shirdi, Baba asked the advocate to hand over the coconut given by His brother. The advocate pleaded guilty and accepted his mistake. Baba pacified him by saying, "Do not consider yourself as 'karta' for both good and bad actions. If you act according to my advice, your spiritual journey will be quickened. Remain fully ego less! Your post has evoked the very same feeling. Sairam, Saisaran.

How many of you invested during the great indian bull run of stock market and made money? Probably some of you did and made lot of money and probably none of you did. However any person who is an investor and has missed the run is probably repenting. Not that stock market is not going to give any more benefits, but the fact is that it will not be easy now. Money making will require lot more effort now.

Similarly, i have an intuition that we are witnessing a great bull run of spiritual excellence and it is important that we use this tide of time for our advantage. This is the time when all and sundry who will make spiritual endeavors will be carried forward. Of course, greater is your investment, greater will be return, however achieving spiritual excellence is lot easier now and will be much difficult later. After reading so much timelines of universe from various sources, i have the feeling that the next few decades are very critical. There is a big tide of spirituality and let us use this to our advantage so that we reach the shore sooner.

I do not need to explain this. We all have divinity, let us just dive into it.

How many of you saw the serial on NDTV imagine based on past life regression. Even though i had read so many things about this, it was the first time i could witness it as it was shown on TV. You know i do not find that amazing, neither do i find it faked or unbelievable. I kind believe in all of that. However that's not what impresses me. What i actually witness is the fact that soul travel across bodies, our bodies and our attachments which are out of this body are so important for the given amount of time, however in overall perspective they are nothing, literally nothing. It made me think and think quite a lot, i even cried at realizing certain truths more. You know we all know so many things, however realization of them dawns only in time. It is important that we become compassionate, have least possible expectations from people around us, take care never to any harm to anybody and never be tempted and do wrong. Law of karma works so silently yet so effectively.

I just pray to God to grant all of us the wisdom so that we lead our life in such a manner that we act in accordance to the laws of the universe and that we live in perfect harmony with our surroundings.

Is knowledge of past life essential and relevant? Probably only to the extent it helps us learn some lessons and move forward. However, i felt when we are not "willing" to learn certain obvious lessons from this life, how do we claim to learn from the lessons of past lives. I guess it is important for us to look around and figure out for ourselves what wrong or right we are doing and thereby mend our ways in our present life itself. If we do not have energy to do that and if we are too weak to stand upright and take a stand on important matters for ourselves, the intensity to implement past lives lessons will also die out soon without reaching its culmination. The sum total of all our actions performed in all our past lives is our present life and if we analyse our present life, we will learn all the lessons. In exceptional cases, past life knowledge certainly helps when even with our sincere attempts we are not able to figure out certain things from our present life.

However, the question is how much do we really want to know and isn't the answers mere facts and what do we do with those facts. If we treasure the facts and become happy at receiving answers to the questions, we have actually done nothing to implement the lessons learnt, we will be stuck at the same place. So the event of past life regression which should have decided a bent in our life has actually done nothing for us.

Can we instead start with our present life regression, can we contemplate on everday's happenings, our thoughts, our actions, our intentions and figure out where we are heading towards. Probably present life regression should be a precursor to past life regression. I might be wrong in my thinking, however this is how i think unless i am corrected.
