When Rajul became young, it was decided that she should be married with Prince Nemi Kumar, who was the son of King Shamudra Vijay of Shauripur. On the fixed day the bridegroom Nemi Kumar reached Junagarh with his baraat. At that time Rajul was very happy and she was peeping from the palace.

RESULT OF PROSTITUTION

There lived Seth Bhanudatt in Champapury. His had a son called Charudatt. He was merciful and helpful to others. Once he went out for a walk with his uncle Rudradatt. He had taken Charudatt to a prostitute by fraud.

Charudatt started to play with the prostitute Basantsaina. He got involved with her and wasted all his money. When he became poor, he had to sell his house and the ornaments of his mother and wife. At last he became totally moneyless.

When he rose he found himself in a dirty place. Then he came to know that the prostitute loves only the money not the man. So gentleman you should avoid the addiction of prostitution because the prostitution destroys health, wealth and character.

RESULT OF DISHONESTY

This is an event from the childhood of Bahan Satyavati Ji. Once she was returning from the school, she saw a tomato seller sitting on the road. When she reached home her mother told her, "Oh my dear daughter, take this coin of fifty paisa and bring half kilogram of tomatoes from the market." She set out immediately and reached the tomato seller.

She asked him to give her half-kilogram of tomatoes. When the tomato seller gave Satyavati the tomatoes, she asked the price of tomatoes. He replied only twenty-five paisa. She gave him the coin of fifty paisa. But by mistake he returned her six coins of five paisa instead of five coins. When she counted the money.

She found that the seller had given her one coin more. She stopped for a moment and thought, whether she should return the money or keep with herself. Finally she decided to have the money, but when she reached home, she saw that there were only five coins with her. She was very surprised and came to know that one coin was of dishonesty and it fell down from her hand. After this Satyavati took an oath never to be dishonest in her life.

HUMANITY

Once Satyavati was going to the school with her friend Manju. In the way the saw a crowd under a tree. When they reached near the tree, there were some naughty children who were throwing stones towards an old lady. She was weeping loudly and her head was bleeding. Satyavati came at once and rebuked all of them. At that time a boy said to Satyavati, "Oh my sister Satyavati, keep away your self from her other wise she will devour you". Satyavati asked," Why are you saying this? A mother cannot devour her children". Then the boys went to their school. Satyavati dressed the woman with bandages. The old lady blessed her and said," I don't understand why the world troubles me like this. God had already given me so much misery". Satyavati replied, "Oh mother, God does not give pains or misery to anybody. We blame God in our ignorance. We are suffering as a result of our sins, which we have committed in our previous life. For a good future life we should avoid these sins".

SPIRIT OF WORSHIP

According to Jainism, there was a frog in a pond in Rajgiri City. Once there came the Samosharan of Lord Mahaveera. All the citizens went to worship Lord Mahaveera. The frog also made up his mind to worship. The frog took a lotus petal in his mouth and set out towards Samosharan. King Srenik was also going towards the Samosharan riding on his elephant. When the frog was crossing the way, suddenly the elephant stamped the frog. It died at once. By the spirit of worship, the frog became a god in the heaven and immediately came down in the Samosharan and worshiped Lord Mahaveera. So when a frog can take birth in heaven by the spirit of worship, then why will human being not get happiness and peace by worshipping God?

CHANGE OF HEART

Once a businessman was travelling in a bus. There he found a purse on the seat. He picked it secretly. When he reached home, he found one thousand rupees with an address slip in the purse and became very happy. After some days he lost a hundred rupees note. He searched for it but could not find. On the same day his sweeper came to him and told, "Oh babuji, I found this note from your garage. Please take it". At the same time he thought, "I am worse than my sweeper, because I have stolen a purse of a gentleman. I must return it to him". At once he set out to the owner's house and handed him the purse. When the owner thanked him, he said,"Do not thank me but thank my sweeper who had changed my heart". He then told the whole story. So we should always remain honest in our life.

TRUE STUDY

This story is when the five Pandavas used to study in the ashram of Guru Dronacharya. One day Guru Dronacharya taught them to always tell the truth and never tell a lie and, said to remember this throughout their life. He also told them to memorize a certain lesson. The next day the Guru made them stand and turn by turn, memorizing the lesson. All the students memorized the lesson. When it was Yudhister's turn he said, "Guru, I could not learn the lesson". The Guru punished Yudhister and taught the others another lesson. For twenty days Yudhister said the same thing. On the twenty-first day, the Guru said angrily, "Oh Yudhister, you are a fool. Could you not learn the small lesson till now". Yudhister said, "Guru, when you taught to always tell the truth and never tell a lie, I always tell the truth. But, I could not make my words fully true till now. How can I say that I have learnt lesson? Only repeating the line is not learning the lesson, but to follow it, is true study". Then, Guru Dronacharya said, "Oh my son Yudhister, you are a very clever student".

THIEF MEETS THIEF

A thief stole a horse and went to the market to sell it. One customer asked the price of the horse. The thief asked him," How much will you give?" The customer said, "I can give four hundred rupees for it". The thief didn't know that the customer was also a thief. The customer thought that this horse was stolen. So he asked him that he would like to try the horse before he could buy it. He agreed to let him try. The customer took the horse and run away without paying. When people asked him for how much he sold the horse, he would say," At the same price what I got it for. "He had stolen the horse therefore it went without any price".

RESULT OF PRIDE

There were two brothers who both did gur (a sweet) business. The elder brother was proud and vain but the younger brother was a simple, peace loving man. One day the elder brother disrespecting his younger brother, said with pride, "dear brother, you have nothing and I have millions of rupees with me and also, one house and one car".

The next day, the elder brother saw that gur was full of insects. And because of this there were many losses. He finally lost his house and his car. Therefore, a man should not be proud of his money. The money can make you a King in a movement and a beggar in another moment.
