All,

I would be going to Puttaparthi this Friday evening (if Baba wills) and would return by Sunday.

The probable travel was made possible by Baba and if i express my thanks to Him for this, it would be never ending session where i would have so many reasons to thank Him. And yes i do feel the gratitude and being enveloped in His love.

I started going to Puttaparthy alone, then after few years i had my wife with me and this time my daughter for the first time. Earlier i used to spend most of the time in Sai Kulwant hall and library and book store. Slowly and slowly library went out, shopping centre got added. Earlier i used to have moments to spend in silence, but with my daughter it was more like a picnic. Six months old Preksha drew every body's attention and she was smiling so much that Seva dal people were constantly taking her into their arms and waving at her. The lady police at the entrance never checked my wife's bag and rather playing with Preksha. My wife was amused and so was i. This trip was quite different from my previous ones, where i would avoid talking to anybody unless i had a question to ask. Smiley

And with Ravi and his wife and daughter joining in the trip, it was enjoyable trip. We reached Puttaparthi Friday late night and stayed at Sai-Ranjeeth Hotel. We did not have darshan next morning, however it was more than compensated by darshan in the afternoon and the morning darshan the following day. We went around few places and i saw Sai Chaitanya Musuem for nth time and walked up the hill to see Kalpavriksha tree. Did some shopping at shopping centre which always have very reasonable prices for everything. Bought many books from the book store (Reading books is an addiction which i indulge in without any inhibitions). Tried western canteen for the first time, i was fine with it, however nobody else in my group appreciated the western food. Smiley Finally, we left for Bangalore on Sunday at 11:30 morning.

Learnt many a lessons and one of that was to seek God amidst all situations of life. And with growing family and responsibilities, i need to learn how to balance my internal growth and external duties. I had started learning that after my marriage, however i am learning more of this after my daughter's birth.  Smiley

Om Sai Ram. Peace and love.

I had wonderful experiences visiting Puttaparthy this time. With my daughter and wife we visited Puttaparthy on 11th and 12th Feb. The visit which was apparently canceled due to my daughter's sickness, materialized itself when my daughter showed great signs of improvement by Saturday noon and we left Bangalore in a jiff at 12:30 to reach Puttaparthy by 4:30 afternoon. I had never driven my car for 170km at a stretch before that. I had my own fears, but none of them came true. When we reached Puttaparthy, my daughter again became sick and had high fever. She was fine during the journey which was a major comfort. We gave her some medicines and all of us went for darshan. It appeared that Baba was not going to turn up as there were some important visitors, however he did. And it was very wonderful. It was around 7:00 in the evening, but the time which seemed to have become sluggish during the earlier wait was flying like a bird during the darshan. After fifteen minutes or so, Baba left, but we were happy to have His darshan.

Next morning, my daughter still had some fever and so we went to General hospital and there was no child specialist there. Paracetamol given by hospital was surely blessed by Baba as after giving that to my daughter, my daughter never had fever. We roamed inside ashram, visiting book shop and shopping centre and baught books and other stuffs. We did not go to hall on Sunday morning as people had told that there would not be any darshan.

During evening we were waiting in the hall for Baba's darshan and we had thought that after darshan, we would leave for Bangalore. Our initial estimate was that the darshan would be over by 7:15 and we would leave by 7:45 or 8:00 in the night. However, due to some reasons Baba did not come till 6:30 in the evening and Arati was performed. We left Puttaparthy by 7:15 in the evening and reached Bangalore by 10:30 in the night. Had never driven in night outside city earlier. On the way i missed seeing a speed breaker and my car went at the speed of 120km over that without gaining any height or being unstable. I guess it was blessing from Baba, because a few seconds before i was thinking if i was driving with some over confidence thinking that Baba would help me during the journey. I got assurance but also kind of hint that i should drive more carefully.

My daughter was alright when she reached Bangalore and stayed fine after that. All during the journey and stay in Puttaparthy, i had the belief that she will be fine after Baba's darshan.  Paracetamol from Baba's hospital ensured that she was fine afterwards. Magic, miracle, coincidence or faith, only Baba knows. I guess Baba would have appreciated pranam from 14 months old child (my daugher folded hands when  my wife told that Baba had come during the darshan). My daughter visits temples and bows down her head till it touches floor upon seeing any statue, takes arati upon seeing any lamp in temple.  Smiley

Vidyaji, did you mean to say that you have never visited Puttaparthi so far?

Vidyaji, did you mean to say that you have never visited Puttaparthi so far?

U you read it right. I have not been there. Last year i booked ticket and when we were about to start i had unbearable stomach pain  due to gastritis and i cud not go. May be Swami din wish me to come there. I dont know what was the implication. I felt sad about that , But what to do thinking of that which din happen. I think Whatever has happened  has happened for Good.

No regrets.

My son and my husband had a good dharshan that time. Its ok.

I feel swami is in me. Why to go and search when the search is  not possible. I dont know whether Swami will ever call me or not. Its ok..

I cant do any physical service due to other health complications. My service is in the form of spreading Swami's message to thousands of spiritually hungry people through this forum ..

Vidyaji,

You will have plenty of opportunities to see Baba in future. Smiley

Visiting Puttaparthi and having Baba's darshan is like bathing in pond of love and compassion. Smiley

Thanks for your concern Ashokji

I always feel that Swami is always with me,.. I have certain health problems. but i  am happy that its Swami who takes care of me in all the difficult times. I talk with him . I share with him whatever i feel....He is my mother father and God..... and everything for me.....Though i have not got a personal experience of seeing Baba at parthi,, i dont regret for that at any time at all.....

I have seen him when he had been to chennai when i was 18 years old...That experience itself is enough for me as a life time experience.....

All other times i have been feeling his presence with me who does wonders for me......

I always thank Swami for being with me always. I pray that he be with me always....Thats all.....No other desire.....
