External renunciation is meaningless

if the soul remains fettered by internal shackles.

Sai Ram to ALL.....Still I am very busy with work duties and have not forgotten the post I promised to give, as soon as I am able I will definitely post it. In the mean time, just this moment I received a beautiful email from Dr Sara Pavan, I thought you may enjoy this. God Bless.

Sai Ram dear brothers and sisters

Re: PRE-WORLD CONFERENCE THEME

Some thoughts on the three theme items:
Love All Serve All

Oh Lord, who has ever loved anyone in the universe as You have loved us?  Who has served anyone as You have served humanity?

Can Your benevolence, Your love be confined to one single act or time?  Your walk, Your talk, Your word, Your song, Your smile, Your touch are all but myriad manifestations of pure, unsullied, selfless total Love.

Bless us Lord, that we may let Thy Love in our hearts,

Flow out unto the world, Not just to our families and friends,

But to every single being in the universe.

For You have taught us, there is only one, without second.

All in all…we can only ask that You forever bless us to follow Your path to LOVE ALL and SERVE ALL…

God Is

In all pleasures and pain, gain or loss, rain, heat or cold, in all life’s strangest ways, Bhagavan, our hearts remain Yours.

Your Name and Your Form are written on our hearts and they are sealed for eternity.

Each one of us has one diamond to offer You – a heart that would not melt at the heat of any hardship whatsoever, that keeps its pristine glow of Love in the darkest of the nights.  And yet, Lord, these diamonds are precious in our eyes, only because they treasure You in their bosom.

Wherever we are, whatever happens,

Whom do we have other than You, Swami?

How to possibly contain all Your attributes and all what you mean to us – even if praising You the throughout infinity.  We can’t because You are ALL, You are everything.  As the Lord told Moses: I AM THAT I AM….indeed My Lord…. You ARE, God IS…

I AM I

Oh Lord, You are not only present everywhere, but the only One present anywhere.

And we can only deny our oneness with You, until we accept it.

So, why any more delay, Swami, please let that moment of acceptance be right here, right now.

Take us into You, let us be one with You, forever and ever.

We are not just created by Sai, but we are Sai re-created,

May we finalize and realize that highest truth, that highest love; that Sai is not only there… but that Sai is here and everywhere else too, that I AM Sai too – that You and I are one.  I AM I, for who else is there?  I AM I…

Our Lives is Swami’s Message; Swami Says:

My life is My message.

We want that the life of everyone of us to be a Message for the rest.

It means one’s life should be ideal and worth of emulation.

Preaching is always easy but to put into practice what one preaches is hard.

“Wherever you are,

However you are,

You are mine…

I shall not free you up”.

Swami is the designer, planner, director of our life’s drama.  He Himself is the Goal.

 1) Swami wants the life of everyone of us to be a message for the rest.  It means one life should be ideal and worthy of emulation.  Preaching is always easy but to put into practice what one preaches is hard.  Swami says love all for my sake and serve all in my name.

2) Service should be done with hands in society i.e. hands are to work in a spirit of detachment with a mind completely free from desires.

3) Look for inspiration from nature – the color of the sky, the sun, the moon and the trees.

4) To whom much is given by Swami, much is asked in return in the form of tests, trials, and we have to be ready to melt like gold to be molded into a beautiful ornament.

5) When we look at others’ faults and criticize them – it is actually our own reflection and resound of our own flaws and shortcomings.  Go right to the source, face it, and deal with it.  We have to remember – we are not perfect, we are human!

6) Anything is possible with Swami installed in your heart.  Make sure you tune in to your inner voice when it tells you to do something impossible. Be vigilant, remember Swami at all times and do not leave Him behind at the altar.  Keep yourself in perfect tune and alignment with Him as you live your daily life – all day, all night.

7) Please remember dear brothers and sisters when you cry and tears roll down, you cry alone but when you laugh, the whole world laughs with you.  Swami says, “One who laughs is Narayana (God)”.  Attempt to radiate the light of love on all equally without discrimination, like the warm glowing sun as a role model.  Maintain the serenity, shine, and coolness of the moon when interacting with all, especially at Sai Centers.

Cool On a final note, kindly realize that the Kingdom of Heaven is within you.  You are of immortal soul and spirit.  What is your achievement in this world?  It is not money or wealth that will take you to the gates of heaven; physical strength is definitely not the way, and neither is your name, fame or position in society.  The biggest achievement in life is to know God.  Swami is among us, is our contemporary and earning the name and title of Sai devotee is most prestigious.

Forget the past.  Today is a great day.  Today is a perfect beginning to start our journey from I to I, and  from I to Swami.  Every moment of your life…Please breathe in Sainaam and Breathe out Smile.

Jai Sai Ram!

1) Swami wants the life of everyone of us to be a message for the rest.  It means one life should be ideal and worthy of emulation.  Preaching is always easy but to put into practice what one preaches is hard.  Swami says love all for my sake and serve all in my name.

[Ashok] : I am terribly bad in this respect. Most of the times i find that there is a big disconnect in how i think in moments of peace and how i think and act in times of crisis.

4) To whom much is given by Swami, much is asked in return in the form of tests, trials, and we have to be ready to melt like gold to be molded into a beautiful ornament.

[Ashok]: I like this statement and this is kind of soothing (even though at the outset it may appear startling).

5) When we look at others’ faults and criticize them – it is actually our own reflection and resound of our own flaws and shortcomings.  Go right to the source, face it, and deal with it.  We have to remember – we are not perfect, we are human!

[Ashok]: I have known this but this understanding is at an intellectual level only for me. It has to seep in more and more everyday into me.

[Ashok]: This is wonderful and very reassuring statement. I love this statement more than anything else.

Thanks Wayne for your post.
