Just as a person is free while climbing a tree but once he starts falling then he has no power to check it. Smimilarly a living being is free in accumulating the Karmas but once accumulated it is beyond his power to control their fruition.

What do we do when we are left with lot of responsibilities and none to guide explicitly. This is the time to look for channels and sources which we overlooked so far or never really developed beyond certain extent. Unlike all other events of life where we see quick changes, internal transformation is a process of creating, destroying and recreating and it can be a painfully slow process. It can be a terrible feeling to realise that higher state(s) of mind do(es) not last forever, our weakness thrust their ways from our inside now and then. Being observant, being patient is difficult, but the interesting thing is that effortlessness sets in once we know the effort required, once we know what it takes. Weeding out every bit of unrequired to see our own self, to become absolutely free of ideas, concepts and see things as they are involves a journey where confusion may reign supreme and where doubts may loom large. But with a sense of purpose we all will travel this path and experience things by ourselves. All of us will do our bit and reach through different paths. We will experiment in different ways, but we will identify and establish the same truths in time.

Each and everyone of us had/has come to this forum seeking something at some point of time in our life. The purpose and motive may lose its steam and may appear to take a back seat because we tend to give higher priorities to other pursuits. But let us not forget that purpose, however feeble that may be at this moment and let us try to sail however slowly but surely.

The vacuum left by Baba is huge and certainly cannot be fulfilled in our lives. But we have to try diminishing that with what Baba left for us. He has left plenty of things for us; all those memories, experiences, his teachings and our belief should help us now. There is lot of strength in each and every one of us. Baba knows that that's why we came to know Baba and that's why Baba chose us. There is no looking backwards, we have to look straight into future and construct it in the most right manner.

Peace and love. Om Sai Ram.

Sairam! i endorse your feelings and views. Though Swami's physical form has receded from our vision, He is the in dweller guiding those who sincerely seek His Divine guidance. Are we not adoring Shirdi Baba though He attained Mahasamadhi during 1918. More and more pilgrims and seekers visit Shirdi for solace after His Mahasamadhi than when He was in Physical Form. Swami's work will continue through the sincere devotees and seekers irrespective of the fact whether Swami is physically present or not. Even while Swami was Prasanthi Nilayam, world over many service activities were carried out diligently. Swami has told the gatherings several times, that His Physical Form too is subject to the limitations of time and space. We have to be there in the Sai Kulwant Hall and position ourselves in a place where Swami's Dharsan can be seen without any obstruction. Even when we take Dharsan, still He may not physically notice us but He has asserted that He is Omnipresent and hence the devotees need not have the apprehension that Swami is no more with us in His Physical Form. Sai Institutions will serve for EVER! Om Sri Sai Ram.

You have said it beautifully Saisaran...

Many (devotees) from around the world who could never afford the trip to India for Swami's darshan, when He was in form, had constantly worshipped and meditated on Him from afar. "NOW" that Swami has given up His form many devotees have also given up. Many are in despair as if Swami is no longer with them, even though they have never travelled to Prashanti Nilayam, they have given up because Swami is no longer there in form. This is what Swami tried to teach us all. "BREAK - LOOSE" from the Divine form and expand to the "FORMLESS". I am not saying to forget Swami's beautiful form, I am saying go further with it by expanding beyond it to HIS FORMLESS STATE.

I am trying to be very careful here in how I put my words and in how I say them. But in truth, Swami has Blessed us more than we could ever imagine by Him leaving His physical form. You see, we kept clinging to His form and that was preventing us from going beyond the form to the formless. That is one of the reasons why God comes in human form, to lead us in awareness of the formless. in which He is.

Swami was and still is for us... the KEY to use for our LIBERATION. I see and experience Swami now more than ever before, whether I'm meditating or just going about my usual business. Keep Him in your mind, Always, and with LOVE and watch what happens.  I am mentioning this to all Sai devotees as I DO FEEL your despair. I pray that Swami helps you all to understand better why He had to leave earlier than He foretold. It really was for our own sake that He did.  Many may not understand the significance of what I am saying, but I do pray that in time (soon) they will. OMSAIRAM

Hi Saisaran Ji, yes you are right that the needed activities will be carried out by devotees all over the world. Sai mission is super-set of mission of every individual and every individual's spiritual progress will be determined immensely by working towards that mission. Thanks for your reply.

Wayne, i concur with you that some of us are probably losing the intensity of self discovery after Baba's physical absence and as you said this event may be the biggest opportunity for all of us to take the next leap and could be a blessing in disguise. I hope this event (or test) is something which we all pass with flying colours. I hope and sincerely wish that we all take that leap in our spiritual pursuit. Thanks for your reply too.
