Dear Sai friends,
It is very difficult to describe Sai in a couple of sentences, however for the first time visitors let me put some information in a concise manner. This information will be elaborated in the later posts with the help of other knowledgeable members of this forum.
According to the Geeta (a Hindu Scripture), whenever there is degradation of human values and the overall health of spirituality goes down and when innate good people are subdued while the sins abound everywhere and seem to flourish, God adopts a human form to restore peace and goodness on the earth.
Thus Sathya Sai is a God incarnation (Avatara). His mission is split into three lives, the first being Shirdi Sai Baba, the second being Sathya Sai Baba which is also the current avatara. After Sathya Sai, the next avatara will be called Prema Sai.
Sai is not here to start any new religion nor to propagate any existing religion or cult. He is here to restore human values, to restore peace and harmony in the society. He is here to help us realise our true potential. Sai is not an advanced soul or a highly developed spiritual sadhaka. He is God incarnate even though he may look like any one of us. No one can comprehend His glory, however persistently one endeavours.
The miracles associated with Sai are natural to Him just as our blinking of eye or breathing in. They are expression of His love and are like His visiting cards. Most of us are attracted to Swami by His miracles and later Swami turns our thinking inward. Unfortunately, Sai is famous for His miracles, which do not find any place in His teachings.
Born in an obscure Puttaparthi village (Andhra pradesh, India), Sai has following which runs into millions. You do not have to chage your religion or leave your current spiritual path to come to Sai. All paths lead to Sai. A village which had no connectivity with the rest of the world to start with is now a major hub of peace and tranquility of this earth. And this is because God incarnate lives here.
Words fail to describe the differences you will find in yourself once you go to Puttaparthi. Swami does not need your money or your contacts, He asks for your devotion and a vow to be a good human being. You are reading this because Sai wants you to. Sai always blesses you.
