Swami revealed the secret behind His incarnation many years ago during one "Guru Purnima" day. Prior to the great revelation, Swami's physical body underwent paralytic attack and four cardiac arrests. One side of His body was completely paralyzed including his eye. His close devotees and attendants Shri Kasthuri and Shri Rajareddy had much difficulty in bringing the paralyzed body of Bagawan from upstairs to the Bhajan Hall. Swami indicated to Kasthuri, that this ailment was taken over by Him and Swami will never be affected by any disorder. He signaled  Kasthuri to bring a glass of water. He, with great difficulty inserted his hand in water and sprinkled  the same on the paralytic affected portion of leg and hand, and He massaged the same. Instantly he was cured of the severe attacks and paralysis. Swami stood up without anybody's assistance and started  the historic discourse with the call as "Prema swarupullaras! "Dikku lena vaduki Devude gathi". Here i translate: Embodiments of Divine Love, God is the only succor for the one, who has none to turn to. Swami linked the episode with that of Sage Baradwaja's intention of performing a Yagna, to which He wanted the blessings of  mother Sakthi. During his sojourn to Kailash, Lord Siva and Parvati were engaged in a Divine Dance which lasted for seven days. Shakti in fact blessed the sage by a smile during the dance. But the sage misunderstood Shakti's smile,  as a  neglect and started descending from Kailash. At the same time, one part of the sage's body was afflicted by paralysis and the sage fell on the ground. Immediately both Shiva and Parvati stopped the dance and came rushing to the sage. Shiva sprinkled water on the affected part of sage's body and he was cured instantaneously. Shiva and  Parvati spoke to the sage, stating that they have already blessed Him. They promised to participate in the Yagna and without the asking of sage gave one more boon. Shiva will incarnate as Saibaba, both Shiva and Sakthi as Sathya Sai Baba and Sakthi alone as Prema Sai in different incarnations. As Sakthi was considered for responsible for the sage's illness, Sakthi has undergone the paralytic attack during the incarnation of Sathya Sai. This historic revelation of Swami on that day revealed His identity as Shiva Sakthi Swarupa. Sairam.
