The purpose of Avatar and His identity.

Many of us might have heard about Ramana Maharishi of Thiruvannamalai. His famous book, "Who Am I" is really a master piece for spiritual aspirants. But, it is not easy to follow the method mentioned by Ramana. He has reached such exalted heights of Adwaita, he could practically adopt the philosophy in his own life. For many number of years, he lived as a pure consciousness and not as a physical entity. When he was about to shed the human coil, many devotees wept and pleaded with him, 'not to leave them. Bagawan said, "Where I can go? I am always Here. Such was his practical experience and hence he never cared for the cancerous growth on his hand and the pain etc. He was immersed in "Self Consciousness for Ever" Likewise though Swami is seen in the physical form, he is always in "Nirvikalpa Samadhi". This revelation is contained in a "Nadi or palm leaf prediction of Bagawan. Swami himself has said once, "I am looking at everything as a 'passing show" in front of Me. Nothing impresses Him. For the sake of Humanity and to keep the promise contained in the "Bagawat Gita", "Paridranaya Sadhunam, Vinachaya Chaduskrutam, Dharma Samstapanarthaya Sambavami Yuge Yuge, Swami has incarnated for the very purpose as mentioned above. "For the protection of virtuous and for the destruction of Evil QUALITIES(He has not come to destroy the EVIL DOERS) as done in the previous Avatars like Shri Rama or Shri Krishna. If the evil doers are to be eliminated, then the entire humanity will vanish. Everybody is a mixture of Good and Evil. The Evil doers will be corrected and transformed in this Avatar. Hence we can never describe Swami except though His own sayings. Sairam.
